March Madness

Dear Madame L,

Who do you think will win the NCAA championship game this year, the Louisville Cardinals or the Michigan Wolverines?

Sincerely,

The Wolverines' Biggest Fan

Dear Wolverines Fan,

And you got your punctuation right, too! You're an amazing correspondent.

However, Madame L is sorry that you're supporting the Wolverines, because Louisville is going to win the game.

Madame L is well aware that the so-called experts are giving Michigan the advantage, but clearly they're not taking into account the pure heart and true grit and hard-core take-the-bull-by-the-horns-and-drive-in-and-shoot-and-win character of the Louisville team.

Madame L has just finished a marathon viewing of the Louisville-Wichita State game followed by the Michigan-Syracuse game, which showed that Louisville je-ne-sais-quoi. They'll win if for no other reason than for their injured teammate Kevin Ware.

But watch Michigan's Mitch McGary, an amazing player, and he's only a freshman!

Sincerely,

Madame L

??
How can anyone get excited by some people in weird (if colorful) bloomers fighting over a round rubber ball? Does it increase resources for the academic excellence of any school involved? Does it increase food production for the world's starving? Does it disable North Korea's plutonium processing plant?
Can the whole debacle be watched horizontally? ;=)
